This 4-day group joining safari heads straight into the Serengeti for two full days of game viewing, then moves on to Karatu before a morning tour of the Ngorongoro Crater on the way back to Arusha. You'll travel on a shared 4x4 safari vehicle alongside other travelers on the same fixed departure, staying at comfortable camps and a lodge along the route.

Arusha to Serengeti
You'll be picked up in Arusha and driven directly to the Serengeti. After a picnic lunch en route, you'll arrive in the early afternoon and head straight out on your first game drive as the light softens toward evening.
Full Day in the Serengeti
Spend the whole day exploring the Serengeti's plains, tracking wildlife and, depending on the season, the Great Migration. Game drives run in the morning and afternoon, with a break back at camp during the heat of the day.
Serengeti to Karatu
One last morning of game drives in the Serengeti before you check out and begin the drive toward Karatu. In the afternoon you'll transfer to your accommodation, with time to relax before dinner.
Ngorongoro Crater & Departure
After breakfast, you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a 5-hour game drive across its floor, home to a dense concentration of wildlife including lion, elephant, buffalo, and the chance to spot black rhino. In the afternoon you'll transfer back to Arusha, marking the end of your safari.
