After breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive north toward Nanyuki, crossing the Equator en route. Continue to the renowned Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a privately protected reserve spanning over 90,000 acres. Home to the Big Five, Ol Pejeta is one of East Africa’s most successful conservation areas. Arrive at your intimate luxury tented camp in time for lunch. Set against the backdrop of Mount Kenya and surrounded by fever trees, the camp offers spacious en-suite tents with private verandas overlooking the open plains. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner as your safari with Nyange Adventures officially begins.

Overnight: Tambarare Camp, Laikipia

Head out on a morning game drive, including a special visit to the protected enclosure of the world’s last remaining northern white rhinos. In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive through this diverse ecosystem, home to black rhinos, reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, and many other species.

Overnight: Tambarare Camp

Begin the day with an early game drive before choosing from a selection of optional activities:

• A guided bush walk with a professional ranger
• A visit to the anti-poaching canine unit to learn about conservation efforts
• A visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary to observe rescued chimpanzees and learn about rehabilitation programs

Later in the afternoon, enjoy another game drive followed by dinner back at camp.

Fly to the iconic Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. Upon arrival, transfer to your private tented camp, exclusively set up for your group and located in a secluded wilderness area. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the Mara, known for its abundant predators, especially its large lion population. Conservation plays a key role here, preserving this exceptional ecosystem.

Overnight: Exclusive Tented Camp, Maasai Mara

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives across the open plains of the Maasai Mara. Watch for crocodiles along riverbanks, hippos in water pools, elephants near forest edges, and giraffes feeding on tall acacia trees. You may choose to take an optional hot air balloon safari (at extra cost), offering breathtaking aerial views of the landscape at sunrise. Later, return to camp for a cultural cooking experience, learning how to prepare and enjoy traditional ugali.
