Day 01 :

Arrival – Johannesburg to Madikwe Game Reserve

Upon arrival at Johannesburg International Airport, you will be met by your professional driver and begin your journey northwest along the Platinum Highway toward Madikwe Game Reserve. Comfortable rest stops will be made along the way.

You will arrive at Motswiri Private Safari Lodge in the early afternoon, where you’ll receive a warm welcome and a guided tour of the lodge. Take time to settle into your luxury bush villa, enjoy views from the wildlife hide, or cool off in the swimming pool.

Later in the afternoon, enjoy high tea with sweet and savory snacks before heading out on your first evening game drive in an open-sided 4x4 vehicle with an experienced ranger. Return to the lodge for a memorable boma dinner under the stars, often enjoyed around a campfire.

Day 02 :

Madikwe Game Reserve

Wake up early for tea or coffee and a light snack before departing on a morning game drive. This is the best time to spot wildlife, as animals are most active in the cool early hours. Expect excellent opportunities to see the Big Five and capture stunning photographs.

Return to the lodge for a full breakfast or brunch. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure—relax by the pool, enjoy the lodge facilities, or watch wildlife from the hide.

In the late afternoon, head out on another game drive, which may continue into the evening. After returning to camp, enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind by the campfire.

Day 03 :

Madikwe Game Reserve
