Destinations you will visit

Nicknamed “Elephant Land,” Tarangire boasts the most elephants in Tanzania. Spot these gentle giants among iconic baobab trees. Look out for lions, zebras, buffaloes, leopards, and even giraffes!

Flocks of pink flamingos paint the shores of Lake Manyara, nicknamed “Lake of the Birds.” This park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions! Located near the Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater route, the park was even featured in the 1962 film Hatari!

Nestled in the Rift Valley, Lake Eyasi is home to the Hadzabe tribe. One of the last remaining hunter-gatherer groups, they live much like our ancestors, hunting with bows and gathering wild plants.

Famous for the Great Migration, millions of wildebeest and zebra thunder across the vast Serengeti plains. This park boasts Africa’s largest lion population (over 3,000!) and is considered Africa’s best National Park. See all the “Big Five” and over 500 bird species here!

Explore the world’s largest intact caldera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This unique volcanic enclosure shelters a fascinating variety of animals. See elephants, lions, ostriches, buffaloes, and zebras roam freely. (Note: giraffes are not found here.) The crater is part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, bordering Serengeti National Park.
