3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari - Nyange Adventures

Visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Trip Overview

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a stunning wildlife area in southwestern Uganda, near the Rwanda border. It’s about a 4-hour drive from Kigali, Rwanda’s capital. The park covers 331 square kilometers of lush rainforest.

Visitors come here mainly to see the rare mountain gorillas. There are about 400 gorillas in the park, making up nearly half of the world’s population. Besides gorillas, you can spot chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, and over 350 bird species.

The park’s thick forests and misty hills create a magical atmosphere. Unlike many wildlife parks, Bwindi allows guided walks through the jungle to track gorillas. This unique experience brings you face-to-face with these gentle giants in their natural habitat.

A 3-day tour from Kigali gives visitors a chance to experience the gorillas, local culture, and beautiful landscapes of the region. It’s a short but unforgettable adventure, perfect for those wanting to see one of Africa’s most impressive wildlife spectacles without a long trip.
