2 DAYS FLY-IN SERENGETI & NGORONGORO CRATER SAFARI FROM ZANZIBAR

2 days of adventure in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater

Trip Overview

On this 2-day fly-in Serengeti & ngorongoro crater safari, exploring two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, renowned for their exceptional game viewing experiences. Begin your journey with a scenic flight into Seronera, situated in the heart of the Serengeti, accessible via domestic flights from Zanzibar (ZNZ), Dar es Salaam (DAR), Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO), or Arusha Airport (ARK). Your safari concludes with a return flight to Zanzibar, wrapping up an unforgettable wildlife expedition.

Itinerary

Your safari guide will be waiting for you at Seronera Airstrip. The game viewing will begin immediately after arrival and continue throughout the day, pausing for a picnic-style lunch inside the Serengeti. In the late afternoon, you will be taken to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and overnight rest in the Serengeti.

After an early breakfast, we’ll head east, enjoying wildlife sightings until we reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, then we’ll descend into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, famous for its diverse wildlife, including the “Big Five”. We’ll stop for a picnic by a lake where hippos gather. Despite its small size, about 20km in diameter, we’ll explore it in 3 – 4 hours. Then, we’ll head to Ngorongoro Airstrip for a flight back to Zanzibar.
