Start your journey in Arusha, Tanzania, and head to Tarangire National Park, known for its elephants and iconic baobab trees. Stay at Sanctuary Swala Camp, where you’ll enjoy game drives and exceptional service. Next, explore the Ngorongoro Crater, home to a dense population of wildlife, including the Big Five. Relax at Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp after a day of safari drives.

Fly to Serengeti National Park, renowned for its vast plains and abundant animals. Staying at Sanctuary Kichakani Camp, you’ll experience thrilling game drives and, if you’re lucky, catch part of the Great Migration. Then, fly to Kenya’s Masai Mara, where you’ll stay at Sanctuary Olonana Camp. Enjoy game drives and witness more of the Great Migration, depending on the season.

End your adventure with a visit to Nairobi for a farewell lunch before departing for home. This luxury safari offers the perfect mix of relaxation and wildlife exploration.

Itinerary

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where a guide will meet you and take you to your hotel in Arusha. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing after your journey or exploring the city at your own pace. Arusha is a vibrant city and the gateway to many famous national parks in Tanzania, making it the perfect place to begin your adventure.

After breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and baobab trees. You’ll enjoy a game drive in the afternoon, where you can spot elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife. The park is also home to lions and leopards, and the Tarangire River attracts many animals throughout the year.

Spend the entire day exploring Tarangire National Park. With both morning and afternoon game drives, you’ll have plenty of time to see wildlife in their natural habitat. Watch as animals gather near the river and enjoy the beautiful landscape. Tarangire is also a great spot for birdwatching, with over 500 species recorded.

In the morning, leave Tarangire and travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After a scenic drive, you’ll arrive at the crater, one of Africa’s natural wonders. In the afternoon, relax and take in the views of the crater from your lodge. The area is home to the Big Five, making it one of the best places for wildlife viewing.

Today, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is a unique ecosystem with an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, and flamingos. After exploring the crater floor, return to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

After breakfast, fly to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through the famous plains of the Serengeti, where you can witness the incredible wildlife. You might spot predators like lions and cheetahs, as well as large herds of wildebeest and zebras. The Serengeti is also known for its breathtaking sunsets.

Spend a full day on safari in Serengeti National Park. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives to maximize your chances of seeing the famous wildlife. The Serengeti is especially known for the Great Migration, but even outside of migration season, the park is full of animals, from elephants to gazelles.

Fly from Serengeti to the Masai Mara in Kenya. After clearing customs, continue your journey with a game drive through the Masai Mara National Reserve. This park is famous for its rolling hills, wide-open plains, and abundant wildlife. In the afternoon, relax or enjoy another game drive, depending on your arrival time

Today, explore the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. This iconic reserve is home to the Big Five and many other animals, including cheetahs and hyenas. If you’re visiting during the right season, you may witness the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River.

After breakfast, take a final game drive in the Masai Mara before heading to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, enjoy a farewell lunch at a local restaurant before being transferred to the airport for your onward journey. This marks the end of your incredible East African safari adventure.
