Submarine Tour Highlights

Your journey begins at Forodhani Gardens, where you’ll board a speedy boat waiting to take you away. Enjoy a scenic 30-minute cruise to the coral reef.
On the upper deck, your guide will share stories about Zanzibar’s history, nearby islands, and Stone Town. You can relax on either deck as you approach the reef.
Descend to the lower deck to see marine life through large windows. Your guide will explain fish and coral with charts, making this a memorable and educational experience.

Your journey to the coral reef will take approximately 30 minutes. We suggest starting on the upper deck where your guide will share insights about Zanzibar’s history, nearby islands, and Stone Town. During the tour, you can choose to stay on either the upper or lower deck. As you approach the reef, your guide will recommend moving to the lower deck to view marine life through large, unbreakable windows. You’ll also have fish and coral charts and explanations from the guide.
After about 1.5 hours, our speedboat will pick you up for an adventure at a nearby sandbank. Here, you’ll meet our hospitality team and enjoy a picnic under a designated tent.

Start your cruise on the top deck, where you can enjoy great views of the sunset and Stone Town from the sea. The submarine offers a perfect spot to see the lively Forodhani Gardens and the evening life of locals and tourists in Zanzibar. Your guide will share important historical facts about the buildings that make Stone Town a World Heritage Site.
To make the experience even better, enjoy a glass of sparkling non-alcoholic champagne as the sun sets. After sunset, the captain will turn on underwater lights to let you see fish swimming around the vessel.
Finally, you’ll return to the Floating Platform for your transfer back to the shore, depending on the tide height.
